Xero Accounting Software Advantages

Xero is an excellent piece of software. It’s an accounting system that’s part of a new breed of accounting systems that does things differently. The first thing that stands out to me is that it is a cloud-based system.

As a result, most accounting systems in the past (or until now) were hosted on a server or a PC. So, while the bookkeeper has access, no one else does, and you have no idea what’s going on in your company. Because Xero is cloud-based, the business owner, accountant, bookkeeper, and salespeople – whoever you want to give access to – can all see what’s going on. There is no such thing as a limit.

As a result, people can see what’s going on in their company, which is huge. That accessibility just makes accounting more accessible to everything else.

Integrating Xero with other systems is a breeze. Many accounting systems used to be stand-alone and wouldn’t integrate – they were very protective of their data – but Xero has found ways to integrate itself; it’s a very open system, so you can integrate it with your online banking, your e-commerce, your Point of Sale, and your stock management.

As a result, it’s part of a system suite that all work together smoothly. And that’s what everyone wants now: no manual data entry, uploading, or downloading. They want a single set of systems with a single point of entry for data – and good data coming out of it – and Xero fits right in.

It is inexpensive; on average, it costs €20 per month. It doesn’t require any training – similar to how the Android phone didn’t require an instruction manual when it first came out; people were able to pick it up intuitively, and Xero is the same.  So, there are a few things that set Xero apart, and if you’re a small business with a turnover of up to €10 million per year, Xero is a great choice. We believe it is far ahead of the competition and well worth investigating.
