Every director now has to be identified on key CRO filings. If you don't have a PPS number, the CRO issues an Identified Person Number (IPN) instead. It's most common for directors who live outside Ireland. We prepare your application and guide you through the one step that needs a witness.
Two quick questions. Nothing is stored or sent.
It's issued by the Companies Registration Office to directors and beneficial owners who have no PPS number or RBO number.
You get a single IPN, and you can use it on every later filing, whichever company it's for.
It works on CRO filings and on Register of Beneficial Ownership filings.
Directors living abroad rarely hold a PPS number.
Anyone being appointed without a PPS number yet.
Owners of 25% or more who need an ID for the register.
In some cases a former director can't be reached. Ask us if that's you.
Your name must match your passport exactly, including middle names.
A form that hasn't been verified by an authorised verifier will be sent back.
Starting after the filing is due can mean a missed deadline.
You only get one IPN. Applying twice causes confusion, so tell us if you've applied before.
Tell us where the director lives and when the filing is due, and we'll set the application up.
