Company Restoration in Ireland get a struck-off company back on the register
If your company has been struck off the register, it isn’t the end. Restoring it brings the company back as if it had never gone, so you can recover assets, pursue debts or carry on trading. How you do it, and how hard it is, depends on how long ago the company was dissolved. We’ll tell you which route applies and handle it.

The clock starts at striking off
Time matters. The earlier you act, the simpler and cheaper restoration is.
Administrative or High Court restoration
Administrative restoration
The quicker, cheaper route, handled by the Registrar of Companies.
- Application on Form H1, received before the first anniversary of dissolution
- All outstanding annual returns filed, with fees and any late penalties
- Revenue confirmation, where the company was struck off for Revenue default
- No overdue notifications about directors or secretary
High Court restoration
Needed once a year has passed, and it takes longer and costs more.
- Application to the High Court under section 738 of the Companies Act 2014
- Letters of no objection from the Registrar, the Minister and Revenue
- Often three to six months from filing outstanding returns to restoration
- The company is treated as if it was never struck off
